We get a lot of rain here, and as everyone knows, rain = PUDDLES! B wanted to have me get a video of her jumping, so here we go! She's such a silly bug!
Okay, so every time I need a "quick pick me up" I watch this little video clip of Ambria in the mud puddles.... helps me put things in perspective... quickly. I LOVE YOU Ambria!!!
One night, M was getting tired and started his tired whimper-cry. B, in the sweetest voice, full of pain and sympathy, said, "Oh, M, you're breakin' my heart!"
T: "Hey, B, try whistling." B: "I can't. I don't have a lost tooth, and I'm not 35 yet."
One night my girls got into a little tiff about a stuffed animal. (I know.) After convincing B, who had been using said toy for a few days, to share with T, I asked her, "Doesn't it feel good to be nice?" She appraised me earnestly, and answered in a quiet but high-pitched voice, "Noooooo." Haha! Ah, honesty!
This might be too much for some of you, but I thought it was too funny to not document! I was wiping down the table one evening when B came up to me and said, "Pssst!" I looked down and said, "What, honey?" She said, "I'm poopy!"
Ahhh...love getting made over by my kids! B was putting a bowl on my head, insisting it was a hat. She kept putting it on, laughing, then taking it off. Finally, getting tired of this trick, she just decided to place my hair over one eye. She said, "There, M0m! You're saucy now!" Hilarious!
Desserts go fast around our house. If you don't stake your claim quickly, you may just miss out. We have a resident Sugar Monster. :) Well, one night, T was getting ready for bed and knew she couldn't have another treat (I think I'd made brownies), because she'd already had one. She said, "Will you please save one for me to have tomorrow?" I promised I would. She looked doubtful, having had the Sugar Monster strike more than once, but Mommy was crafty and clever and managed to keep the goody hidden. In the morning she looked for the pan that the treats had been in and got a very sad face. "Mom," she cried. "You promised you'd save one for me!" I said, "Baby, there's one in the fridge with your name on it." Haha! The funny part of this story is when she actually went to check the fridge to see how I had written her name on her brownie. :) Cuteness.
